These delicious morsels are a perfect after-school treat, party snack, or just fun to make as a family! Incorporating the rich taste of Banner Butter’s Dark Chocolate Butter, these are sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
Graham Cracker Filling
- 5 oz./140 grams graham crackers (one 9-cracker sleeve),
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ cup/110 grams Sea Salt Banner Butter, melted
Chocolatey Crispy Rice Treat

5 oz. (1 Round) of Dark Chocolate Banner Butter
- 4 cups miniature marshmallows
- 5 cups crispy rice cereal
Instructions
Step 1
Over a medium bowl, gently crush the graham crackers inside the sleeve. The texture can be rough, medium to large size chunks. Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and salt. Stir in the melted butter until fully combined.
Step 2
In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the Dark Chocolate Butter. (If starting to bubble reduce heat slightly)
Step 3
Add marshmallows. Stir constantly until melted and well combined. Cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Step 4
Fold in the crispy rice cereal until fully covered.
Step 5
Scoop half of the marshmallow and cereal mixture with a spatula. Using wax paper, press evenly and firmly into a buttered 9×13-inch pan.
Step 6
Using a spatula, spoon out the graham cracker mixture over the first layer. Again, press evenly and firmly over the top with wax paper.
Step 7
Scoop the second half of the marshmallow and cereal mixture over the 2 other layers. Press evenly and firmly with wax paper.
Step 8
Allow to cool, cut and serve!
