Queen of the cruciferous (or arguably the brassica) vegetable family, cauliflower is full of phytonutrients, slightly sweet to taste, and perfect for roasting. Here’s our easy roasted cauliflower recipe:
This recipe was such a hit, we had to try not to eat the whole pan.
Here’s what you will need:
1 head of cauliflower
1 cup water
2.5 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp Roasted Garlic, Basil, and Parsley Banner Butter
1 tbsp salt
.5 tbsp pepper
Bunch of thyme
The juice of one lemon
Oven safe pan
Here’s what to do:
1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
2. Break apart cauliflower and disperse in your oven safe pan
3. Gather ingredients
4. Pour water into pan
5. Add salt and pepper
6. Pour in olive oil
7. Add three dollops of butter (spread them out)
8. Set timer for 45 minutes and put pan in oven
9. Wait 20 minutes, pull pan out, add more butter and shake it like you mean it
10. Add your bunch of thyme with another dollop of butter and place back into oven for 25 minutes
11. Remove pan and add lemon juice
12. Add a couple more dollops of butter
Plate it up.
