These are brownies like you’ve never had before! This recipe uses our Dark Chocolate butter and espresso powder to give these brownies a complex, rich taste! Check out the recipe below.

 

Ingredients

  •  1 cup (226g) Banner Butter Dark Chocolate Butter
  •  3/4 cup (75g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  •  2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
  •  1 tsp instant espresso powder
  •  3 large eggs
  •  1 tbsp vanilla
  •  1 tsp salt
  •  1 1/2 cups (270g) semisweet chocolate blocks or chips
  •  1 cup (120g) all purpose flour

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 F
  2. Melt the butter over medium low heat until completely melted.
  3. Transfer melted butter into large bowl, sift cocoa powder and sugar into the butter and mix until well combined.
    • Note: Mixing until the sugar is fully dissolved makes for a fudge finish.
  4. Add in the espresso powder, eggs, salt, and vanilla into your mixture.
  5. Cut up your chocolate into pieces and add them into your mixture. Set a small amount aside to sprinkle on the top at the end.
  6. Fold in the flour gently until it is fully incorporated.
  7. Pour the batter into a pan lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
    • Note: Less time baking will make fudge brownies!
