Easy Weeknight Thai Basil Beef from @blackdog_bbq ! We love this savory use of our Cinnamon Cardamon Ginger Butter.  It only takes about 30 min so it’s quick on time and BIG on flavor!

Ingredients

1 package Cinnamon Cardamon Ginger Butter
1 lb @double8cattle Wagyu ground beef
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 sweet onion, sliced
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup basil
2 cups prepared rice
@meatchurch holy cow rub

For the sauce

1 T chili paste
2 T soy sauce
1 T fish sauce
1 T brown sugar
2 T lime juice

Steps:

1. In a small bowl combine chili paste, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and lime juice until incorporated, set aside.

2. Heat  1/4 butter in a large skillet on grill over high heat. Add the ground beef seasoned with holy cow rub and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon and stirring often about 6 minutes.

3. Add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic to the beef and cook until vegetables start to soften about 5 minutes.

4. Pour the sauce mixture along with the fresh basil and continue cooking until basil starts to wilt.

5. Serve over rice topped with fresh basil. Enjoy!

PS, if rice is not pre-prepared, start before step 1. The rice will be done at the same time as the rest of the meal! Mix remaining @bannerbutteratl compound butter with prepared rice to add an additional layer of flavor.

Use ratio of 1 C rice : 2 C water for the desired amount

Steps:

1. Add rice and water to a boil in a covered pot. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and allow to cook for 25 minutes covered

2. Once the rice is done, add 1/2-1 packet of Banner Butter and mix thoroughly. Set aside until ready to serve!
