What YOU NEED:
1 tbsp grapeseed oil
6 tbsp Sea Salt Banner Butter (or Balsamic Fig & Caramelized Onion as pictured!)
4 Top Sirloin Filets
Salt and Pepper
What YOU DO:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Season filets to taste with grapeseed oil, freshly ground salt and pepper.
In a sauce pan, melt 6 tablespoons of Banner’s Sea Salt Butter over low heat.
Add 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil to cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
When cast iron is hot, sear steaks 2 minutes on each side, add melted butter, and transfer cast iron to oven for 3 minutes each side for a perfect, buttery medium rare.
Let rest and serve with a pat of Banner Butter on top.
